While most of the area won't see any accumulation, some spots could pick up at least an inch of snow.
Elevations from 2,500 feet to 3,000 feet could see snow stick on grassy or elevated surfaces. The snow accumulations won’t last long and shouldn’t cause anything other than very isolated travel issues. In addition, officials with the Georgia Department of Transportation say they are monitoring the situation and have crews ready should conditions worsen.
